22/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission inquiry on "rented lines" confirmed that their excessive price is still a major obstacle for the creation of an e-Europe. Competition Commissioner Mario Monti expressed this view as he opened a public debate on this subject on Friday. EUROPE will come back to this declaration.
