"Migrants Forum" rejects accusations of misadministration and declares itself ready to have its accounts checked by external body

Brussels, 12/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Union's Migrants Forum rejects accusations of misadministration and declares itself prepared to have its accounts checked by an external body. This reaction follows the proposal of placing in reserve part of the credits allocated to the Migrants Forum in the EU's Budget 2001, proposal put forward by the rapporteur on the "budget" of the European Parliament's Committee on Citizens' Freedoms and Rights.
