Anti-dumping procedure on bicycle parts

Brussels, 12/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission recently initiated anti-dumping procedure concerning imports of internal gear hubs for bicycles originating in Japan. Indications given by SRAM Deutschland GmbH seem to demonstrate there is indeed a dumping situation, with important margins, that would have serious adverse effects on the Community industry, mainly as far as financing and employment are concerned.
