ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) computing

The American computing group HEWLETT-PACKARD is in negotiations for the acquisition of the advisory activity of PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS, the second largest accountancy office in the world, for an amount of between USD 17 and 18 billion payable in shares. Other firms are interested, notably GENERAL ELECTRIC, SIEMENS, MICROSOFT and IBM.
