ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) media

The British group GRANADA MEDIA acquired a 45% stake in the capital of the Irish broadcaster TV3 (commercial TV), for GBO 18.7 million. GRANADA MEDIA and CANWEST GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS, the Canadian group also holding 45% of TV3, will create a joint venture responsible for managing their stakes.
