EUR 1.5 million to Honduras

Brussels, 12/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to grant EUR 1.5 million to Honduras to come to the assistance of populations hit by Hurricane Mitch. The funds, from the ECHO budget (European Community Humanitarian Office), will allow ECHO-partner humanitarian organisations to pursue, on the ground, the implementation of projects in priority sectors such as: - health (epidemiological prevention and medical assistance); - and the rehabilitation and management of...
