Parliament amends regulation on substances that impoverish ozone layer, in the interest of developing countries

Brussels, 12/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - Following its rapoprteur, Ms Anneli Hulthén (PES, Sweden), the European Parliament unanimously endorsed, without amendments, revision of the Community regulation on substances that impoverish the ozone layer, in order to explicitly authorise the export by the Union of inhaler sprays and medical pumps, containing CFCs, for the administering of medicines, to developing countries.
