Slim majority of Parliament considers creation of "Observatory on Industrial Change" not appropriate

Strasbourg, 07/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The apparently harmless creation of an "Observatory on Industrial Change" had split the Parliament in two: a right hostile to any additional bureaucracy and a left convinced it would be a useful instrument for the prevention of social conflicts.
