EP approves directive on family reunification stressing Member States are entitled to have more favourable national legislation

Strasbourg, 07/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday (323 votes for, 212 against and 38 abstentions), the European Parliament approved the directive relating to family reunification for third country nationals residing legally in a Member State and for the citizens that do not exercise their right to free movement.
