Brussels, 17/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Union Council decided to establish a definitive countervailing duty on imports of stainless steel fasteners originating in Malaysia and the Philippines. The regulation, adopted on 10 July, authorises the definitive collection of amounts imposed over the past six months as provisional countervailing duties. It finally brings to an end the proceeding concerning imports from Singapore and Thailand.
