The AIRBUS partners officially announced the transformation of the European consortium. The group of economic interests becomes a company with shares named AIC - AIRBUS INTEGRATED COMPANY, 20% controlled by the British BAE SYSTEMS and 80% by EADS grouping the French AEROSPATIALE-MATRA, the German DASA and the Spanish CASA, all three in the process of merging.
