23/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - Alvaro de Soto, special envoy of the UN Secretary General for Cyprus, who was in Nicosia to prepare to the proximity talks on Cyprus that should start in Geneva the 5 July, said he hoped that the Turkish side would participate in the talks.
