Opening of European Business Summit - Georges Jacobs reelected President

Brussels, 09/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Business Summit (EBS) opened in Brussels on Friday 9 June, on the initiative of European employers (Unice) and the Belgian Employers Federation (FEB). Taking part were some 1,500 high-level European businessmen, together with representatives of European institutions. The European Commissioner for Industry, Erkki Liikanen introduced the day's work.
