Development cooperation resumes

Brussels, 09/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The resumption of the European Union's cooperation with Niger has now taken effect. Considering that the country had embarked on the democratic path, the Commission gave its green light for the immediate release of 24 million euro, corresponding to the second tranche of the National Indicative Programme of a total of 160 million euro.
