New partnership agreement to be formally signed on 23 June in Cotonou (Benin) after Joint Council

Brussels, 09/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The signing ceremony of the new partnership agreement between the ACP and European Union countries will take place on Friday 23 June in Cotonou (Benin). After consulting the European party, the news was formally announced by the spokesman's service for the ACP group. The agreement signing ceremony that will replace the fourth revised Lomé Convention will be preceded by an ACP Council of Ministers and an ACP-EU Joint Council. The programme will...
