Brussels, 29/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has just given the go-ahead so that 3000 Europeans from 15 EU Member States, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, may benefit, this year, from a period of training abroad. The budget is EUR 59 million. The candidate countries will join the programme during the coming weeks and thus will increase the number of participating countries to 30 and the budget to EUR 69.5 million.
