29/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Parliamentary Association for Euro-Arab Cooperation welcomed on 25 May the return to sovereignty and the withdrawal of Israel's army from Southern Lebanon, stating in a press release that the end of the occupation of Southern Lebanon is the "result of both 22 years of resistance by the Lebanese people and the political courage of the Israeli Prime Minister, Mr Ehud Barak".
