29/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - There was an error in our report on accession negotiations between the EU and Malta, in EUROPE of 26 May, p.7. On 25 May, Malta provisionally closed the seven following chapters: education, research, SMEs, external relations, CFSP, telecommunications and industrial policy (and not statistics and competition policy).
