Bank leaves key interest rate unchanged - Duisenberg invites citizens of euro zone to remain confident

Frankfurt, 11/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the Governing Council of the European Central Bank decided to leave unchanged, at 3.75%, the Bank's main short term interest rate, the refinancing rate (Refi). The ECB also left unchanged its deposit facility rate (2.75%) and its marginal lending facility rate (4.75%).
