The French start-up company ALGETY has announced that it is being taken over by the American optical network manufacturer CORVIS. The operation, which values the French group at USD 141.1 million, will involve payment via shares, with ALGETY shareholders receiving 5.4% of CORVIS' capital plus an additional percentage under certain conditions.
