Commissioner Barnier supports taking mountain realities into account in future management of structural funds

Brussels, 11/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The report on EU cohesion, in preparation for the end of the year, will comprise specific development on the situation of mountain areas. The resulting diagnosis could serve as a base for the development of new EU actions in favour of mountain areas in various fields.
