Meeting between Guterres, Prodi and social partners confirms convergence of aims

Lisbon, 23/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - As usual, the European social partners (UNICE for employers, ETUC for trade unions and CEEP for public enterprise) met, late Wednesday afternoon, the president of the European Council, Antonio Guterres, and the president of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, in order to specify one last time what they expect to come out of the extraordinary summit on employment.
