Poul Nielson signs in Abuja three financing measures totalling EUR 32.8 million - First steps in resumption of co-operation with this country

Brussels, 23/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - Announced in June 1999, the resumption of EU co-operation with Nigeria has now been made a reality. During a two-day official visit to Abuja, European Commissioner Poul Nielson signed with the Economic Adviser to President Obassanjo three financing conventions totalling EUR 32.8 million for projects to be executed starting in June of this year.
