PIXELPARK AG, a 60% subsidiary of the German group BERTELSMANN, will be buying the Swedish firms CELL NETWORK AB and MANDATOR, currently in the process of merging (see EI of 9 February), to form Europe's leading internet consultancy. The transaction, evaluated at EUR 2.4 billion, will take place via a share swap, announced PIXELPARK, which will own 56.6% of the new firm, baptised NEW PIXELPARK, with 43.4% owned by current shareholders in the Swedish firms.
