Joint Assembly announced it is generally satisfied with new partnership agreement, but calls for some clarifications - WTO must authorise the maintaining of a preferential regime

Abuja, 23/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - In unanimously adopting the report by Glenys Kinnock (Labour, UK) on the future of APC/EU relations, the joint Assembly is satisfied with the new agreement while underlining that the agreement shows the deep change in European attitude with regard to the spirit of Lomé.
