WTO tries to define a work programme susceptible of re-establishing confidence - Priority given to services and agriculture in hope of then re-launching new comprehensive trade talks

Geneva, 10/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - This week's session of the General Council of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) obtained expected results in the sense that:

i)  An atmosphere of moderate confidence has been re-established, after the shock of the Seattle Conference;
