Measure to re-establish cod stock in Irish sea

Brussels, 10/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission adopted a regulation for re-establishing the cod stocks in the Irish sea, including a closed are for a period of six weeks to protect the adult cod during the spawning period (from mid-February to the end of April). EUROPE will return to the issue tomorrow.
