MEPs want to protect and remunerate copyrighted works used by generative AI

10/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – The use of copyright-protected works by artificial intelligence requires transparency and fair remuneration, said the European Parliament, on Tuesday 10 March, when it adopted by 460 votes to 71 with 88 abstentions the own-initiative report by Axel Voss (EPP, German).
