10/03/26 (Agence Europe) – In article EUROPE 13824/13, published Monday 9 March, Agence Europe falsely stated that the European Court of Auditors’ new audit of energy communities, carried out in four countries, had been conducted in Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Portugal. These countries were in fact Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Romania. The Court’s report highlighted shortcomings in the EU-wide framework for developing energy communities, which bring together citizens, local authorities and small businesses to produce, manage and share their own energy.
