European Parliament calls for stronger action against invasive marine species

10/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 10 March, the European Parliament called for urgent measures to combat the proliferation of invasive alien species in the marine environment, which threaten biodiversity, ecosystems and economic activities such as fishing and aquaculture.
