European Parliament adopts position on ‘omnibus’ simplification text on batteries

10/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament is aligning itself with the European Commission’s simplification proposal for the batteries regulation (see EUROPE B13645A2). On Thursday 10 July, MEPs adopted the report by Antonio Decaro (S&D, Italian), who proposed taking up the Commission’s proposal unchanged.
