Presidency of EU Council will start process of establishing criteria for allocating seat of future Authority before summer break

The Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU has stated that it will begin the process of establishing the criteria for the seat of the future ‘European Customs Authority’ (EUCA) before the summer break, according to an EU source contacted by Agence Europe on Wednesday 9 July. The evening before, the first interinstitutional negotiation meeting (trilogue) took place.
