European Commission takes Germany to court over inadequate transposition of public procurement directives

18/06/25 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 18 June, the European Commission announced that it was taking Germany to the European Court of Justice for incorrectly transposing two European directives on public procurement. Berlin does not comply with the rules on access to information for candidates for public procurement contracts who wish to request a review of the decision taken by the contracting authorities.
