The risk to human health from pesticide residues remains low, in line with previous years, according to the latest annual report on these products from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
EFSA analysed the results of 13,246 random samples taken by EU Member States, Norway and Iceland from twelve of the most widely consumed food products in the EU, as part of the EU co-ordinated control programme (EU MACP).
