14/05/25 (Agence Europe) – The Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) approved the appointment of the full-time members of the Executive Board of the Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AMLA) on Wednesday 14 May. They followed the European Parliament’s selection (see EUROPE 13604/19): Simonas Krėpšta, Rikke-Louise Petersen, Derville Rowland and Juan Manuel Vega Serrano. Their term of office will run for four years, from Sunday 1 June. Marcus Pleyer, who had also been selected by the European Parliament, withdrew his candidacy for personal reasons on Thursday 8 May.
