MEPs back agreement with EU Council on driving licence revision and driving disqualification

14/05/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 14 May, the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) validated the agreements with the EU Council on driving licence revision and driving disqualifications. By 36 votes to 6, MEPs approved a uniform digital driving licence by the end of 2030 and harmonisation of medical requirements for drivers at European level (see EUROPE B13607A7).
