‘T+1’ settlement in EU, European Parliament rapporteur calls for legislative proposal to be adopted without amendments

16/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – In his draft report published on Thursday 10 April, MEP Johan Van Overtveldt (ECR, Belgian) proposes that the European Parliament accept without amendment the European Commission’s proposal to reduce the settlement cycle for securities transactions in the EU from October 2027 (see EUROPE B13578A28).
