EU deploys 72 long-term observers throughout country as part of its Election Observation Mission

16/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 15 April, the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) deployed 72 long-term observers throughout the Philippines to monitor the upcoming national mid-term elections on 12 May. The Mission, which has been in operation since 28 March, is led by Chief Observer Marta Temido (S&D, Portuguese), a Member of the European Parliament.
