Euro area inflation stood at 2.2% in March

16/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – In March, the annual inflation rate in the euro area was 2.2%, down from 2.3% in February, according to figures published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Wednesday 16 April. In the EU, inflation was 2.5% in March, down from 2.7% in February. Rates were lowest in France (0.9%), Denmark (1.4%) and Luxembourg (1.5%), while the highest rates were recorded in Romania (5.1%), Hungary (4.8%) and Poland (4.4%).
