EU Council adopts ‘Stop the clock’ directive postponing application of CSDDD and CSRD

14/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 14 April, the Council of the EU formally adopted the ‘Stop the Clock’ Directive, the very first omnibus text under this mandate. This text postpones the directives on sustainable corporate reporting (CSRD) and corporate due diligence (CSDDD) by two and one years, respectively.
