European Commission launches new network to strengthen cybersecurity skills

On Wednesday 4 December, the European Union opened a “call for expressions of interest” to join its new ‘Industry-Academia Network’, part of the European Cybersecurity Skills Academy, to tackle the shortage of highly qualified and skilled workers in the field of cybersecurity.

This network will include members of the academy, higher education institutions, European University Alliances and vocational education and training (VET) providers.
