04/03/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Sunday 3 March, the French Rassemblement National party, which is part of the ID group in the European Parliament, launched its campaign for the European elections under the slogan ‘La France revient, l'Europe revit’ (‘France is back, Europe returns to life’). The aim of the head of the list, Jordan Bardella, is to “rewrite the treaties”. He wants to avoid the “suicide of Europe”, built, according to him, on the migration pact, the ‘Green Deal’, and the deepening and enlargement of the EU. The President of the RN does not want a Frexit, because “you don’t leave the table when you're winning the game”, he explained to the media on 29 February. He unveiled a “tricolour strategy” breaking down the Community policies that he “approves” (in green, such as Erasmus), those where “new conditions” are needed (orange, such as Schengen) and “red lines”, including immigration and defence.
