Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs’ celebrates 15 years and 12,000 exchanges 

04/03/2024 (Agence Europe)On Monday 4 March, the European Commission celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) programme, hailing its major role in promoting entrepreneurship across the European Union. Since its launch, the programme has facilitated nearly 12,000 business exchanges, giving new entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn alongside experienced entrepreneurs in more than 45 countries. With more than 5,000 applications in 2023, the programme has reached a record level of participation, reflecting its continued success. Participants receive financial support for their travel and accommodation expenses, encouraging rewarding international collaborations. The EYE enjoys a high satisfaction rate, with 98% of new entrepreneurs recommending it and 92% now in post-exchange contact.
