Reform of Schengen Borders Code, negotiations continue between Belgian Presidency of EU Council of the EU and European Parliament

30/01/2024 (Agence Europe) – Midday on Tuesday 30 January, negotiators from the European Parliament and the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council were due to resume negotiations on the reform of the Schengen Borders Code (see EUROPE B13265A28) and to discuss in particular the issue of the return of migrants from one member country to another when they are intercepted in border areas by joint police patrols.
