On Tuesday, 30 January, the European Commission announced that it had approved two German aid schemes worth around €1 billion intended to support small and medium-sized livestock enterprises that are investing in upgrading pig breeding sites.
The first measure, which will apply until the end of 2030, has a budget of €675 million.
