Asbestos in buildings, European trade unions call on European Commission to keep its promises to protect workers

In a letter sent on Tuesday 30 January, European trade unions called on the European Commission to keep its promises and keep its word on the fight against asbestos-related cancers, by introducing legislation on screening for and recording the presence of asbestos in European buildings.
