Digital platform workers, European Parliament signals disagreement with EU Council’s latest revised mandate

As anticipated by certain sources last week, the negotiation meeting between the European Parliament and the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council on digital platform workers ended fairly quickly on Tuesday 30 January, EUROPE has learned.

The meeting lasted just over an hour and the European Parliament quickly signalled its disagreement with the latest revised mandate of the EU Council approved on 26 January (see EUROPE B13337A13), deeming it unacceptable.
