11/10/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 October, the European Commission published an implementing regulation extending an anti-dumping duty on imports of sodium cyclamate (sweetener) from China and Indonesia. The only EU producer, Productos aditivos SA, had submitted a request to review the anti-dumping measures already in force, which were about to expire. The Commission found, after investigation, that imports of these products from China and Indonesia (the only other two producing countries in the world) would harm the European industry if the anti-dumping measures were to end. It, therefore, imposed an anti-dumping duty ranging from €0.23 to €1.17 per kilo on sodium cyclamate from these two countries. Read the implementing regulation: https://aeur.eu/f/3j5 (LM)
