Commission welcomes Romanian regulator's commitment to reduce mobile termination rates

Brussels, 05/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a letter published on Thursday 5 March, the European Commission welcomed the move by the Romanian National Authority for Communications (ANC) to bring its regulation of mobile termination rates - wholesale charges operators pay each other for connecting calls on their networks - in line with the forthcoming Commission recommendation, due to be adopted at the start of April.
