Online shopping increasingly popular but development is held back by barriers to cross-border trade

Brussels, 05/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - Online shopping is enjoying growing success in the European Union with its popularity varying from one country to the next but its development is held back by barriers to cross-border trade. This was the main finding of the report published on “Barriers to E-commerce” by the European Commission on Thursday 5 March.
